Next up was Brussels, Belgium.
This
place seemed quintessentially European. To our eyes, at least.

then some random, yet impressive, parade came by.
We were thouroughly unsure as to what was going on here.

After
a bit of wandering about, we found the main cathedral.
Inside
the cathedral as mass is is session.
As
with most of these cathedrals, this one was filled with
beautiful things.
We
only spent a day or so in Brussels. We then decided to take the
advice of some other travellers we had met and head over to a town
in far-western Belgium called Bruges.
