After
another near-restless night of sleep in this "hostel-type"
apartment of a crazy Austrian woman (long story) and another
healthy breakfast involving breads and cheeses (ooh, and a danish
I think...), we found ourselves in the gardens of Schloss Mirabell.
These gardens were also in that Sound of Music
flick. Although
this scene was deleted in the final cut.
Carl
plays with some ducks in the distance there.
These gardens were pretty beautiful. There were
flowers, fountains the castle....
... and statues of naked guys wrestling. What a
place, this Salzburg!
Oh,
and it was also the birthplace of Motzart. I guess that's nice too.
